The Gloria Dei Parish Nurse Ministry team checks Blood Pressures every 4th Sunday between services.
Did you know that a “normal” blood pressure is below 120/80 and a reading of 140/90 or above is considered hypertensive? Over time, an above normal reading can damage your heart, arteries, kidneys and other body organs.
Stop by the Life Center Hallway between services to have your blood pressure taken and while you’re there, talk with some of the Parish Nurses about some tips for a healthier lifestyle.
