LOVING AS A SERVANT - What Makes a Heart Grow? Serving others makes a heart grow. On November 5th, 8 students and 3 adults used their Saturday morning to prepare 50 meals and 100 pairs of socks to share with the homeless in inner city Houston.
As they serve the homeless community of Houston, they were blessed to share a ministry of prayer and friendship. Feeding the homeless gave them the opportunity to enter into their stories and love them with a hug and a prayer. Serving the homeless of Houston provides the opportunity for students and adults to grow in compassion and love for real people with real needs. Thank you God for the opportunity!
