Our Summer Interns

We were so blessed by our interns this summer.  A "Big Thank You" to Ryan Mann, Megan Pogue, Kristin Mosley, Kevin Soderland, and Stephen Solis for a job well done.

This past summer has flown by and the Summer Interns have really had a blast these past few months.  From planning Mid-week activities and retreats to helping with Sunday school and Kidzspace, we have been kept pretty busy, but have loved every minute of it.   We really liked building relationships with each other and the students during the Arizona Mission Trip and Impact week as we helped the Navajo Indians and people throughout our local community.  Our meetings were goofy and fun, yet always successful at the same time.  We learned that we really appreciate our sleep after doing a lock-in two Friday nights in a row.  Our last escapade included going to the Houston Zoo to feed the giraffes and The Cheesecake Factory to enjoy some delicious cheesecake.  All in all, this was a fantastic experience; the knowledge and leadership we have gained is priceless.  -- The 2011 Summer Interns
