Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - A Journey Through Alzheimer's Disease

Brennan Kraut, the Director of Regional Supportive Care, LLC, will explain the stages of Alzheimer's disease by using characteristics of the Seven Dwarfs.   Explore Alzheimer's in terms of the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial effect it has from diagnosis through the progression of the illness.

The Right Care at the Right Time

Rebel Heasley, RN and Director of Palliative Care at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hosital, along with Mark Robinson, Chaplain with Traditions Hospice will share how to choose the level of care needed at the right time when patients face a serious or life threatening illness. The goal of both Palliative and Hospice care is quality of life,  focusing on the body, mind and spirit.

Both workshops will be at Gloria Dei, and are free, however registration is required by calling 713-682-5995 or emailing

Each session will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am in Life Center classrooms 214 and 216 and limited to 50 participants.

These free workshops are a collaboration between Gloria Dei's Care and Health Ministry and CarePartners.
