Volunteer at Gloria Dei
We are always mindful that we are living in the presence of the risen Christ. This mindfulness prompts us to ask questions. “What is God doing in this situation? How is God directing me? How might I be helpful right now?”
Whether you are a first time volunteer or a veteran, we have a place for you. There are many serving opportunities at Gloria Dei - to fit your giftedness, passion, experiences, and availability. Check out the volunteer teams and serve in a ministry which best fits you. We’ll help you find your niche.

Volunteering at Gloria Dei is different that volunteering at some other organizations. Our volunteers are here to serve - not to be served. Our volunteers put the needs of others first.

How do I get started?
If you are ready to get started, contact our Volunteer Coordinator. She'll help you figure out what will be a good fit with your schedule, interests, and Gloria Dei's needs.
But I don't have any "skills."
Most of our volunteer positions don't require special skills other than a willingness to serve. For those that require spacial skills, training is provided.
What if it's not a good fit?
Let your ministry leader know and TRY AGAIN! We are here to help. Feel free to try a volunteer team for a while. If it's not a good fit, try another one. Here are a few factors to consider when getting ready to volunteer:
