Choirs
The Children's Choirs and Youth Choir begin on September 12th in the Life Center Auditorium.  Come make a joyful noise and  join the fun if you are between the ages of 3 and 18 years old!

The Gloria Dei Children's Choirs meet on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 6:45pm beginning September 12th and continuing through May 14, 2008.  Children learn basic musical skills through movement, games and singing.  The choir year consists of singing for worship services and the spring concert.  This year the Children's Choirs will be presenting "It's the Best Christmas Book !"  Come watch the kids tell stories and act out Christmas scenes.  

The Youth Choir meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00pm from September 12th and continuing through May 14th, 2008.  They will be preparing a presentation of "Godspell, Junior" complete with all the upbeat music and crazy costumes.   Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, Godspell Junior is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love. Featuring the international hit "Day By Day,"  it's a treat to perform and watch!

Holy Half Notes is for children ages 3 - 5 .  We ask a parent to accompany the child.  Directed by Valerie Tegeler and Alicia Endicott.

          
Kids of the Kingdom is for Kindergarten through 2nd grade.  Directed by Joyce Richardson.

   
GEMS (God's Excellent Musicians) for children in 3rd through 5th grades.  Directed by Rick Tegeler.
Youth Choir is for children from 6th grade through high school.  Directed by Rick Tegeler.
