Whether it’s an intimate setting of a poem or a splashy Broadway score, the collaborations of inventive writers and skillful composers bring a heightened expressiveness to choral singing. BAC pays homage to this wedding of text and music with a medley from Wicked, The Wiz and Wizard of Oz. Other favorites from stage and screen will be performed as solos by award-winning young artists from Houston universities and by the talented Chamber Singers from Prairie View A & M University.
