Worship Services

Worship at Gloria Dei is a two-fold experience: God comes to us through His Word and Sacraments and we respond to Him with praise and thanksgiving.

This service typicially occurs at 8:00 am in the Chapel. It includes a message that is Christ centered and Bible based. It is relevant and applicable to daily living. This service includes hymn singing led by organ and cantor. Responsive reading of service elements known as the "liturgy" are also included. Additional elements of this service include confession and absolution, scripture readings, gospel readings, communion, special music as well as prayer and the Lord's prayer.

This service typically occurs at 9:30 am in the Worship Center. It includes a relevant teaching message that is Christ Centered and Bible based. This service also includes hymn singing led by organ, piano and choir. Bell choir, children's choir, youth choir, brass quintet, orchestra and solo instrumentalists are featured throughout the year. The adult choir offers a special anthem each week. Additional elements of this service include confession and absolution, scripture readings, gospel readings, communion as well as prayer and the Lord's prayer.

This service typically occurs at 11:00 am in the Worship Center. Music at the contemporary services is led by the Gloria Dei Worship Team, made up of both veteran musicians and young students. They lead the congregation in spirited, uplifting songs - some of the best from Hillsong, Paul Baloche, Lincoln Brewster, and Chris Tomlin, and some that the church has been singing for centuries. Each week we hear from God's Word in the message and learn how it pertains to us in our 21st century lives.

Nursery

Children are always welcome in our worship services, but if you'd like to take advantage of our nursery, KidzLand, its available during our worship services for newborns through 4 years old. Please arrive a few minutes early to check-in your child and receive a pager. In the event your child needs attention during the service, the nursery staff will page you.

Communion

Communion is generally served on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month. Communion is also served for special holidays like Christmas Eve and Easter.
