Contemporary Worship at Gloria Dei

A Weekly Encounter With God

Worship at Gloria Dei means stepping into the presence of God, to receive the love He has for us and for us to respond with praise and thanksgiving.  Music at the contemporary services is led by the Gloria Dei Worship Band, made up of some of the finest working musicians in Houston.  They lead the congregation in spirited, uplifting songs - some you may know from KSBJ and some that the church has been singing for centuries.  Each week we hear from God's Word in the message and learn how it pertains to us in our 21st century lives.  We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month.

Contemporary Worship takes place in the Worship Center at 11:00am each Sunday.

Do you have a heart for serving God with your talents?  If you would like to play an instrument in the Worship Band or sing in one of the vocal teams we would love to hear from you.  An audition and interview is required.  If auditions make you nervous and you would still like to serve God with your vocal talents, consider the Praise Choir.  This group forms for special occasions to help lead the congregation in singing and provide special music.  For more information or to schedule an audition, please contact Joel Endicott, Director of Contemporary Worship at jendicott@gdlc.org
