Seasonal Worship
Gloria Dei offers worship during special seasons of the year. 

In the spring, we hold Ash Wednesdays services at the beginning of the Lenten season at 12:00 noon in the Chapel and in the evening at 7:00pm in the Worship Center.  Small groups meet weekly to study suggested books or materials to prepare for Easter.  During the week before Easter, we provide special worship experiences on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.  Our Easter Festival worship provides several worship opportunties so that all of our guests and members can experience this wonderful celebration of Jesus' resurrection.

During the weeks before July 4, we have our Freedom Celebration which allows us to celebrate the freedom we have in Jesus Christ and the freedom that we have as a nation.  In 2007, our Freedom Celebration will be July 1st at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 in the Worship Center.  A special presentation for children will be available at 9:30 and 11:00.

During the Christmas season, on the week before Christmas, we will offer Carols and Bells.  This exciting worship with choirs and special music is a time for us to "ring our bells" and hear the message of the Christmas story.  We offer several worship services on Christmas eve each year with both traditional and contemporary styles.
