Impact Week is a four-day serving initiative for our incoming 6th grade through college freshmen to serve right in their own community. Please see the information below about safety measures we are taking during Impact Week to ensure the safety of all involved and information on how you can register your student. 

Each day starts with a devotion and plan for the day in the Chapel. After that students will be broken up into work teams for the day. In order to maintain physical distancing as best we can, we will be serving locally in Nassau Bay this year. We will have work projects in the neighborhood surrounding church as well as projects onsite that benefit our partner organizations. We will have a mix of projects inside and outside so there will be something for everyone. Projects will include yard work, meal prep, food packing, care package creation, and more! After our work time is finished, we will return to the church for a boxed lunch followed by a time of worship in the Chapel.

Car Wash for Police and Nassau Bay Work Vehicles (Gloria Dei)
Baking for Lighthouse and Mercy Tree (Gloria Dei)

Wednesday Projects (Location)
Yard Clean Up for Shut Ins (Walking Distance from Church)
Care Packs for Nurses (Gloria Dei)
Tamale Making for Iglesia Gloria Dei (Gloria Dei)

Thursday Projects (Location)
Property Work Day (Gloria Dei)
Prayer Walk (Walking Distance from Gloria Dei)
Extended Lunch and Game Time (Gloria Dei)

Cost: $10 a day - Covers food and supplies each day. Students can sign up day by day. Sign up for the entire week to receive a free t-shirt

Here are the safety measures we are taking to keep your student safe:

  • Physical distancing encouraged at all locations
  • Temperature and symptom screening upon arrival
  • Masks will be required for all of those in attendance.
  • Cleaning all locations each afternoon after departure
