Active Shooter Training

The Nassau Bay Police Department will present a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course for our community at Gloria Dei Church on April 7th at 1:00 pm. This class is meant to educate our citizens on the physiological and psychological effects of critical incident stress and the importance of maintaining situational awareness in various circumstances. The curriculum also provides information on proactive measures to increase survivability during active attacks. This presentation was developed through the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training Center (ALERRT) in conjunction with Texas State University. The ALERRT program is the national standard for active attack response.
