What to Expect

Kids Jr. (Birth - Kindergarten)

We believe that God works faith in all stages of life. Our ministry to babies (birth through age two) is focused on helping these little ones very basic biblical truths in a safe and secure environment. If this is your child's first time in Kids Jr., the information below will help answer any questions you may have.
Our preschoolers (age three through Kindergarten begin to experience more structure during their time at church. The kids enjoy learning through stories, games, and other fun activities in their classes.

When You Arrive

You will enter through the Life Center doors. When you get to the Welcome Center, you will go to the hallway to the left to check into Kids Jr.
If it is your first time, please allow 5 minutes to register your child. Our Kids Jr. team will help you register your child and show you the check-in procedures for future visits.
Please keep your parent pick-up tag handy with your child's code on it. This helps us get a hold of you if you are needed.

Service Times

Kids Jr. is open during our regular service times: 9 and 11am Sundays. Check-in opens to receive children 15 minutes before each service.
You may check your child in or out anytime during our worship service.

Parent Pick-up

Your child will receive a name tag that includes their unique security number. You will also receive a parent tag with the same number. We call this the Parent Pick-up Tag. For safety reasons, no one is allowed to pick up your child without the parent tag you receive, so make sure you hang onto it.

If You Are Needed

If we ever need to get a hold of you, we will put your child's code at the bottom of the screen in our worship service. You would check the code on the screen with the code that is on your Parent Pick-Up Tag.

Monthly Resources

September

We have been reminded over the past several months just how important it is to believe that God has a plan for me. Our world has changed. Everything we had planned changed. This month, we are going to use the super sweet theme of Ice Cream Sundae, along with the life of Joseph, to teach our children that God has a plan for them. When we put all of the parts of Joseph's story together - just as with an ice cream sundae - it gives us a sweet reminder that we can trust that God has a plan for us, and it is always best. We just have to wait until God is done putting all of the parts together.
