Kids Ministry Weekly Devotions

Throughout July and August, our Family Ministry team will be sharing devotions for our kids and students to watch at home. Kids videos will be posted each Tuesday. We will be talking about the phrase "There's a verse for ____" where we look to Scripture each week for answers to struggles we may face in our daily lives.

At Gloria Dei, we understand your child may be having some anxiety and fears about everything going on in the world right now.  Below, you will find some resources to help you talk through it with them.

This short book, by author Manuela Molina, was created to support and reassure children, under the age of 7, regarding COVID-19.  This book is an invitation for families to discuss the full range of emotions arising from the current situation.  It is important to point out that this resource does not seek to be a source of scientific information, but rather a tool based on fantasy.  The author recommends printing this material so children can draw on it.  Remember that emotions are processed through repetitive play and stories read multiple times.

We developed the Baptism Marker Experience to help parents, and their children, learn more concerning what we believe about baptism and faith formation in the home. If you desire for your infant or child to be baptized, please fill out the electronic request form. This form will also provide you the opportunity to register for the next Baptism Marker Experience. No baptism is scheduled until confirmed by Andee Hasty.
